Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
It IS Christmas. All of you guys have been under the regional thumb for so long that you seem to be addicted to the abuse. A pay raise based on scales from a decade ago doesn't even keep up with inflation, let alone account for the massive increase in demand for pilots. I say demand massive gains and if the ship sinks, it sinks. There are places to land all around us. Everyone on here acting like we need to accept what the hand feeds us needs to wake up to the current environment.
Any JFK/LGA 900 captains who sit reserve P3 on here.... how often are you getting used? Average flight hours per month? Are you typically able to get released from day-4 or day-5 of P3 or does skeds use you every single day? Thanks.
The company wants to divide out the $23K equally over 24 yearly paychecks. The union wants to add $23hr. If you flew the company average hours, that equates to a raise of $2.09 per hour over the company proposal. If you fall short, it's a paycut. I'm not cool with locking in a 5 year contract, that I have to fly over 1100 hrs to make any money, which I could beat with a simple $2.10 hr raise. Take the company proposal, and then lets deal with hourly rates in section 6.
Pay proposals (on top of current book) monthly:
Union ($23 per hr)
75 - $1725
80 - $1840
85 - $1955
90 - $2070
95 - $2185
100 - $2300
Company ($23000 salary)
75 - $1916
80 - $1916
85 - $1916
90 - $1916
95 - $1916
100 - $1916

Anything less than $25.56 is a pay cut for anyone on property in the past 2 years. And even at $25.56, it's still less pay than the more senior guys got back in the day, right?
I'll vote no for anything less than $25.56. I was hired at 75 hours guarantee, I get paid at 75 hours, and I see anything based on 83 or 85 hours as a pay cut, period.
And don't give me any of that BS about the 401K increased contribution. It might be a good thing. It might not. Won't know until one is taking it out. Had anyone here tried to take money from their 401K in 2007/2008, they would have lost their pants. Many have just started breaking even in the past year or two.

Most people will benefit much more with a pure hourly rate.

For those that average more it is a raise.
Don't get me wrong I'll take the more money option, but the problem is we need to get what we can while the fire is hot, I've seen it turn the other way too many times to wait "because we can get more" down the line.
I see a trend that it's the guys that only fly 75 hours that have a problem with this.
For everyone else it's a benefit.

It's a raise because the bonus will go away.
And it's more money than now for most pilots on property.
