Growth for our airline is great but let's not cheerlead the demise of other people's livelihoods. I've gone through a bankruptcy with the threat of losing my job with a lot less to lose than the majority of that pilot group that has 8+ years seniority. It still sucked. People have families to take care of.

Step back and look at the big picture. It's not just a bunch of parts, it's people.

It's because they haven't seen the ugly regional side yet. The millennial regional pilot. We could easily be in the exact same position two years from now. Start parking 200's and guess what??? Realignment vacancy/ base closures/downgrades. Yep that crap happened not too long ago. The fresh blood hasn't seen the dark side.

My dad was in WWII and stationed at Ft Derussy right around the corner from Pearl Harbor when it was bombed. He passed away a week ago today at 94. Hard to believe after all these years and having spent the past 3 years seeing him almost every day and taking care of him.

Kudos to all who have served. Thank you. But even more so today, thanks to those who offered up the ultimate sacrifice; their lives, for our freedom. To me, there is nothing happy about Memorial Day. But I appreciate those who gave their all.

Default Luggage Works

I'm buying a new luggage works carry-on bag. What do you guys recommend?

A) Luggage Works-Stealth Aviator
B) Luggage Works-Computer Front Stealth 22
C) Luggage Works-Stealth Suiter 22
D) Something else

Is the 22 big enough or should I go for the 26 inch?

Thanks.

The month is displayed by the each day with the number of required reserve pilots, and available reserve pilots. It is constantly changing based on usage, new hires, resignations, etc. If the numbers are equal it's black, if they're short reserves it's red, and if they're positive it's green. If a day is green you should be able to drop something on first come first serve. You cant drop the middle of a trip or reserve stretch. It's all subject to scheduling approval which can take 30 seconds or several hours depending on how busy they are. JFK 900 FO is red for the entire month of June right now, but as people clear OE or they reduce the required number it'll probably slowly work it's way to Green for a few days
