This is what I have been saying... not trying to be Debbie downer but the mainline contract that goes thru 12/2019 allows for no new regional level aircraft... all you can hope for is getting 2nd/3rd hand pieces at someone elses expense of a job... until we complete and ADS-B mod on a 200 I am not believing they are staying past 2019 and for that matter our core 81 900 flying only goes til 12/2019 also... I agree its better than post bk from mesaba and pinnacle... but its not exactly puppies and rainbows either

True, but I'm glad it's not the other way around.

Just wanted to provide a correction to your statement. The EV contract for the majority of their 700/900's is not up until 2020. GoJet was supposedly up this spring, but no word on that.

Is our CEO a real human? Aside from the (I suspect getty images stock photo) picture in the upper left corner of our company page and two sentences every 3 months, I'm not sure he exists? Can anyone confirm? Heck I've heard more from the SKY CEO just from still being automatically reenrolled in their cadet program. Any update on the timetable of him heading to big D/who would be the replacement?

9E seems overstaffed (12-13 pilots per plane). What's with all the hiring? Isn't this a recipe for stagnation?

That's the dumbest thing I've heard of. By your logic if they would have to finish their merger first, Delta would have to buy the whole thing. Even the United side. Additionally, it is possible that they might just be shaking things up enough to shrink the list over there. Another bad sign is they're not making it anymore attractive for new pilots. I hope Delta isn't planning on a merger. But either way, things do not look good for Express Jet
