I appreciate your effort in portraying a good picture, but i think your numbers are a bit off...
For example, I count not 22, but 122 folks hired between Dec 08 and Oct 14.
200 CAs for May in DTW. (Your numbers were a bit different from mine here as well. Didn't take the time to go thru the other domiciles. Obviously, the upper RSV folks are there by choice.)

To be clear, I agree that EDV is a great place to be. As has been stated here by other folks, it is NOT going to be the quickest way to DL, if that is one's career goal. But it is still a great place to work. I enjoy coming to work. I enjoy the people I fly with. I have never been junior manned, and have never gotten a call on my days off. Ever.

Here are the clear numbers. A few bad apples make this sound a lot worse than it is at EDV. I am very happy with my job here and recommend this airline to anyone looking for experience, quality of life and money. This is one of the best regionals now hands down. Upgrade is quick, holding a line as a captain is quick. If you choose the most senior base you will be on reserve for a long while, as with any airline. 5 day trips that by contract are commutable on both sides allows for 15 days off with 15 days home even as a commuter. Also remember if you hold a line you can pick up trips in any domicile. *Also There are only 22 pilots hired between 12/08 and 10/14, so anything '08 as a line holder will be jumping to '14 or '15 line holder soon (this summer), even DTW 200 should be holing a line with '14 hires soon.

Things will change in 4 years with the DGI, but for the SSP group, not many were selected to move to DL. And those that were selected went into a 12-18 month pool waiting to get there.
Meanwhile, OTS hires go to class within a month or two of a CJO. I know a XJT CA who got hired by DL in 06/16, started class in 07/16, and is WAY ahead of the guys in the pool who got CJOs at the same time, but who will be here for several more months.
DL cannot bleed EDV dry, so movement from EDV to DL will be slower. DL doesn't care if they bleed a AA WO dry. Makes good business sense.

Two years to upgrade, two years as CA to wait for DGI. Four years to get a shot at DL isn't bad for a newhire. What's the flow time at PSA?

The bold part is correct. That's why I said it will change. I also think the percentage taken into DL will increase over the SSP. But it's still a ways off; only time will tell.
Flow time from PSA to DL is about 2-3 years I think.

Perhaps a silly question; With our pilot group stepping up and being more customer service oriented, I would imagine that there are many more compliments given out than just the one a week we see in the FOU. The question is, if you get one, are you notified? Does the company keep track and also does Delta?

OK, so after all the info about CA... How about FO's? Applying this week and was wondering about a few things?
1) Is there a big difference in seniority (or shall I say "Juniority") between JFK/LGA 200/900? And how much more senior is DTW compared to JFK/LGA?
2) How many reserve months (appr.) should I expect to have in LGA/JFK/DTW? Is there a big difference in these times between 200/900?
3) Is there any good commuting policy (couldn't find answers online)?
4) How much extra $$ for open time p/u (couldn't find the answer online)?
5) Do EDV pilots have jumpseat (not nonrev) priority over mainline guys on their own metal?
Thank you for any response!

2. In NYC, not a major difference between 2/9. I'd hazard a guess and say 2-3 months in LGA.
3. Yes, two flights are required to get to work before report time. Most folks commute and I haven't heard of any issues.
4. Depends on base, but on the FO side I've seen plenty. Know if guys crediting well into the 120+ range per month. I can do 90-100 on the 200 without eating too much into days off.
5. Think so. Anybody confirm?
