IF Delta buys XJT, it will be for XJT's owned market share, which, will be immediately transferred to mainline. They will immediately shut down XJT to prevent any possible reversal over said transfer, due to antitrust.

It is worth noting that L-ASA still flys for AA too.

Regarding ....XJT....have some respect for what's going on over there everyone. In two years we could be dealing with the exact same thing. Stop posting negative crap about their airline. It's their deal! Hopefully they get some good news. Endeavor pilots should hope for this too...we don't need another Comair putting pilots on the streets.

What's all the fuss? EV will get pinnacled and 9E will get comaired for being top heavy. Oh wait they're more top heavy

It's pretty sad indeed....and ALPA can't do jack sh!t about it. They only care for the top dogs. Paying ALPA for over twenty years should get you something other than a 🍕.

My mom always told me that two wrongs don't make a right. So it's pretty hard to be the better person here as I still remember a lot of what was said during our downturn. Maybe there is such a thing as karma. In the regional world it seams everyone gets a turn on the bottom. Especially on the Delta side

Because that makes for a very top heavy list of guys just sitting around for another 10 years until retirement. It ties up almost all the captain seats in DTW and MSP as well so that hurts recruiting efforts. It also raises costs compared to companies that keep the guys at the top of the list moving on in their careers.
