Why would they buy Xjet after moving over a bunch of 200s? That costs money and time which they will have just wasted. If their plan was to buy them it wasn't thought up after we started moving 200s over.

The rumors we hear from other regionals regarding 9E is ridiculous sometimes

Kinda think ya need to sell your own tickets to be considered a major

Its based on revenue. Numerous regionals have met the $1 billion threshold over the years.

Comair was considered a major based on their profits.

Skywest brings in more revenue than Allegiant. Theyre a major by definition. You are correct they are a regional and a contract carrier, but it might be time to take them more serious.

You mean revenue. So was TWA, so was ACA/Independence, i think Hooters air brought in enough to count as well.

Skywest is powerhouse regional that pays their pilots little while convincing them they are the best paid. By definition they are a major guys, it's not a revenue or a wee-wee measuring contest though.

You're both arguing with facts at this point based on your feelings, move on, this isn't The View.

And maybe Endeavor is, but as a wholly owned we would never know.

Comair was its own airline selling its own tickets, they went public in 1981 to raise capital for new aircraft, and Delta started buying up its shares. At the time ALPA merger policy was DOH. Instead of merging, scope relief was offered by mainline to keep the operation separate.

If Comair pilots had just accepted the damn staple job, a lot of horrible things would not have happened.
