Why? I like the I cloths and writing up burned out bulbs, especially on the last leg of the day when I just wanna catch the van is a PITA. LEDs have been around for years, and the XJT birds have them in the tail.

I was told in passing by an Endeavor new hire that he can upgrade as soon as he hits 1,000. However, the unknown was is this 1,000 with the company or are they accepting 121.436?
Also if a new hire can't bid ATL, is it going senior or just a matter of time before a new hire will hold ATL out of class?

My guess 1000 121...as they are reducing the company 1000 time requirement.

Also I believe you will soon see new hires get ATL as the base ramps up and becomes the largest 200 domicile. Should be relatively easy for a new hire to get ATL out of training.

There definitely needs to be some changes after this disaster. One of them is that system that goes out every month. They shouldn't have never stopped training agents on the old deltaterm system. That's just one of many issues.

What kind of proof will they need for the prior 121 time?

121 flying leaves a paper trail, PRIA and your logbook are enough...unless you have a logbook that has 1000 hours in 6 months which would raise eyebrows and prompt phone calls to your previous airline.

Thanks. It has been 7 years since flying 121 and my last airline merged. Wouldn't be an easy reach back.

If our needs are not met with FOs who have 1000h 121.436 and 1000 company time we can reduce the required company time.
Does your logbook show the 121 time? Is there anything to suggest your logbook isn't accurate or won't stand up to scrutiny?
Call the recruiting hotline and discuss it.
