The first round drove guum-ball to drink, I doubt he'd stick around for a second round of merger crap (he wasn't even here for the beginning). So we risk getting a jerk like BW back who hates all regional pilots, and that'll end this company because no one will work together.

Edv just got fixed, unless it's a pilot group like gojets with such joke contract language and a pilot group who would lay over, bend over, and beg for more, there's no merger in our future.
I agree. I think Mother Skywest will keep dismantling the Express Jet side and show it as a loss until they can't do that anymore.

Thanks for the clarification, engine46. Contract trumps opinion!!

2dubs, I suggest you change your address before you bid TDY.

People cry financial manipulation with zero proof

SkyEast is slowly becoming profitable as bad contracts expire and a few (smaller) profitable contracts have been signed.

I've heard the same from them as well but in the end they really have no say in it. It'll always be Atlanta at the controls of the big picture stuff like that.

I don't get it. Why would Delta sell Compass to Trans State in the first place.

They sold compass and mesaba at same time (same day). Richard Anderson, the dl ceo at the time, said he was "very impressed with their nwa wholly owns and wanted to work very closely with them in the future because they had a lot to offer". Compass they sold for a deal and Mesaba sold for no money down no payments for first 6 months to Pinnacle.

Supposedly dl didnt want to pay us the '06 contract rates because we were too expensive. Compass didn't cost much but apparently dl didnt want to keep the flow. Did anyone ever get a full explination for why we got sold? I blame it on gojo.

Honestly, who cares? We have no control what Delata does.

Sure, but sometimes I think I'd like to be able to look back and have it all make sense.
