Perhaps he is looking out for the interests of the other 1700 pilots who got their stuff done. This is one of the few LMS modules that affects so many people besides yourself. I would imagine that phone calls went out to the individuals before the list was posted, and that any personal crisis affecting pilots should be known to managment by now. How this is surprising to anyone is beyond me.

Completely agree. While yes those people should have the LMS done by now why would the company make the deadline the 17th. Half the time I need to get something done I'm waiting till at least close to the deadline. I finished my LMS day one it was out but it seems like the company messed up on their end.

It seems like it's the same crap with the efb delivery. The company is clearly behind, and 1650+/1700 pilots have done everything they can do. It's possible we are making up delivery dates to spur 100% completion early.

I wonder how many of those guys are on vacation and have been for 2+ weeks? Some portion probably have no idea theres a made up completion date.

Default Efb lms

This is Tom Wychor, responding as a follow up to today’s email to all pilots. We have been collectively working to bring EFBs to Endeavor Air for the last 3 years. We are hearing clearly that Endeavor Pilots want to stop updating their manuals and Jepps as soon as possible.
We cannot “burn our paper” until we have 100% of our Pilots: with their LMS complete, using EFBs and then sign a new LMS stating that they can safely operate without a paper backup.
CQ LMS has a 60 day due date, and standalone LMSs due dates vary from 30 - 45 days. We could wait for the standard deadline, and carry paper, or we can all do our LMS and we can “burn paper”.
If the last 48 do not complete their LMS by Sunday evening we will have to carry paper into April. It is that simple. Pilots want to drop paper, and we are telling you what we all need to do to make that happen.
Give me a call on my cell if you have any further questions.

Could be, I'm glad it's almost here too. I thought it would've been done on day 1 with as many people complaining about the flight cases.

If that made you excited, imagine how much more exciting it would be if the LMS date matched the date promised to "burn paper". Even if it's gonna be April because a couple guys didnt realize the lms date is wrong, the finish line is there.

Hope everyone at this company can be mature enough to realize the company has been stalling this for years, don't flip out on a couple pilots who were told the wrong thing in official communications and it delay us a couple weeks.

If you do, you'd better be a impatient brat at the company on the next screw up.

Mr. Wychor, always a pleasure, and don't be a stranger to these guys.

Well there's a minority of pilots at kennedy and garbagia who don't want the ipad, but to their credit, none of them appear on that shame list. If we somehow finish this thing by sunday itll still be the fastest lms to be completed. I always see a few guys doing their lms in the crew room that last week before the date, i know ive been that guy.

They're asking us to finish it 12 days early and almost everyone has. Lets not pretend that we're talking about a big problem. 2% of the group needs to complete this on a impromptu timeline

LGA is by far the better commute from DTW, but Co-basing is in the very near future meaning a trip could start and end from either base very soon.... that would be an issue for a DTW (and a lot of other places too) commuter.

Id have to check with the reps to make sure, but I've been told we are nowhere close with codomicile. You mightbe worried about nothing, you can always bid back to reserve in dtw if sitting on ur thumb is that important.

No I wouldn't be able to, because there have been no vacancies in over a year in DTW now. Once you leave, you can't come back... We have at least 10 900 captains with job offers to Delta set to leave by July. Yet sill no vacancies on 17-01... that means DTW is continuing to shrink and it means the bottom captain will be about a 12 year employee. Reserve is looking like reality for anyone less than 17-18 years here soon. Similar story for MSP, just add a few years. I would take the 200 to get off reserve but that too still isn't an option. My hope is a job elsewhere soon. That seems to be the only option for someone in my seniority.
