There is a lot of turnover in NYC. If by some bizarre event you don't get awarded it initially, you'll hold it before the end of training probably.

I wouldn't be surprised if DTW and/or MSP shrunk. I wouldn't be surprised if DTW even closed its doors in a year or two! Seriously, how much smaller is it going to get??

I'm pretty senior, so I can easily hold either one. I'm just tired of seeing more and more flying moved out east.

DTW is in no danger of closing, and saying such on a public forum is reckless IMO. DTW is still easily attainable for new hires within a few months of being on the line. Do your 2-3 month punishment in NY and move on.
