they were trying to plug the leaks in the dam with bubblegum and fingers….now they realized they screwed up and have brought in the heavy machinery and concrete before it's too late. Why would Delta purchase a -200 sim from China for them if they are losing all the 200's?

Negativity, crew room wining, and rumor mongering are what I hate most about this profession.
We loose sight of the fact that... WE GET PAID TO FLY MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR JETS AROUND! How cool is THAT? Pilots are the envy of every office rat I know.
I have worked behind a desk, most every time I've been furloughed, lost my medical or taken a pay cut (3 furloughs, 1 lost med, 7 pay cuts), everything about office work sucks....
Be thankful you get to do the COOLEST thing in the world... not stuck in a cubicle, but with the best view out the window possible and great people!
It ends to soon, even with an age 65 rule!

I dunno. I'm always leery of people (or corporate recruiters and executives) who say "yeah, we were conniving liars and a-holes in the past,........ but we've changed! We're sooooo much nicer now. Heck, we even want to pay you a LOT more money!! You can trust us now. Really!"
Makes me suspect that they may not actually have that huge stash of candy inside of their windowless van.

Let's see...Mesa bought the sim, Mesa is HQ'd in PHX. I'd say there's a good chance they'll go to Mesa and not 9E.

I agree with this. In my former life in corporate training and development, we were actually accountable to some core values...honesty, respect, favorable attitude, teamwork, and professional development/stewardship. I suspect that an alarming portion of my peers in aviation would not score well in a graded 6 month and and annual review in these areas. Oh and by the way, merit raises were based on these reviews. Food for thought...
