Did my interview end of January. Being my first airline interview it was a very positive experience. Positive space travel down and paid for hotel, everything went very smooth.

Morning of the interview, catch the 7AM shuttle to HQ, you get there at about 715AM, a company representative comes down and gets everyone at 730AM. If you take the 7AM shuttle you get there in plenty of time. There were 4 others that were waiting in the hotel lobby as well, good time to chat and get to know them while waiting for the shuttle.

Once the company rep comes and gets you, you go into a conference room and wait for a Line Captain to come do a 45 min - 1 hour presentation on the company. This is going to be one of the interviewers as well. It is a fairly informal presentation, feel free to ask questions (encouraged).

After that you get taken to a holding area and they start off the interviews two at a time based on your departure flight time.

Interview itself is heavy on HR. You start off telling them about yourself (open ended question, so you can take that in any direction you want). It is more of a get to know you, and to help put you at ease. Then you move into TMAAT and WWYD type questions. Entire interview took about 45 minutes. It was 4-6 TMAAT questions and about 5 technical questions.

I would focus heavily on incorporating customer service into all your responses. The technical questions were very very basic, if you are a current pilot this part will go fast. I think we spent maybe 15 minutes tops on it. Types of questions included: Tell us about a current powerplant that you fly, What are the speed restrictions in Class D, What are flaps and what are they used for. Then they pull out a binder and ask you to turn to a random section. They have you do a full approach briefing (you can use JEPP or NOS). Then they asked if I was approaching from a specific fix and I had to hold at a different one, how would I enter the hold, when could I start descending, and how would I determine when the MAP was. Finally they had me read a METAR, and ask me if I needed an alternate (simple 1,2,3 rule is all they are looking for). Then I read a TAF and was asked if I could use this airport as the alternate.

You are then taken back to the holding area while they go over their notes, you wait for 10-15 and after that they come back, take you back into the room you interviewed and give you the verdict on the spot. If you accept it, they have you go into a different room to fill out the paper work. After paperwork is done, you are sent off to the drug test facility (paid for cab), when drug test is done, you call the cab back and they take you to the airport.

Whole process is very professional and they do a great job of putting you at ease. I recommend using the Everything Explained to brush up on the technical part and practicing TMAAT questions with a friend. Good luck!

Nice to hear about your experience, Micaoct. Thorough and honest, thanks for sharing. Did you accept the CJO and when do you start? I've heard good things about the process at 9E. Good luck!

Accepted the CJO and have a February 29th class date. I'm excited! Didn't apply anywhere else.

Congrats! Endeavor is killing it right now with our performance and structure. Delta is a really good product and they have helped Endeavor out a ton. It's a good regional to be at. .
