60-70 is the number that they are telling everyone. Growth is coming back, (kinda) the 200's will be back out of the sand this fall. Buying two sims for 200's alone is not a small price tag.

Someone had better tell ASA and Skywest that they have to park their 200s in that case.

Doesn't Delta scope in the PWA limit the 50 seaters in the entire DCI system to 125 total?

Endeavor, is a way to "train" pilots to fill their needs, so when brought to mainline, it is simply a new type that the candidate is training for as the "Delta" way would already be a part of their DNA.

They are full steam ahead with changing the current SOP's to match theirs, as the changes are evident with the 900’s and still being modified.

What all the naysayers need to understand is Pinnacle/Mesaba/Colgan are dead. Delta wanted to start a regional up and did it by buying an AOC and some assets. So let the ghosts of airline’s past rest in peace, Endeavor is a new beast that will rule the roost, so get in on the ground floor because it will be a Meteoric rise!
Not to argue the merits of everything said, but a meteoric rise is a misnomer because a meteor is a short lived streak as it comes crashing down. A meteor is not the best metaphor for a triumphant and lasting ascendancy.

That is correct. What used to be Chatauqua still operates 50 seaters for DL as well, thus further limiting the CRJ-200 count.

It is gauged off of 76 seaters which are gauged off of 717s.

Yes, and no. The additional 200's will lower the amount of 76 seaters, Delta is upping the number of 717's, and the block hour limits are being complied with. So additional 200's over 125 are allowed, for now.

Delta pilots are free to merge with Endeavor if they want to remedy any scope violation. So..............

Truth be told that is in fact true, but you know these colloquialisms. So lets replace it with a more apt "Rise like a Phoenix!"

How many 76 seaters are there now (and planned to be) in the system? That determines the max amount of 50 seaters (which drops to 125 with the 223rd 76 seater, down from 348 50-seaters).

DL upping the number of 717's has no bearing on this as the max amount of 76 seaters is gauged off of a 88 717s. Going above that number has no effect on the amount of RJs permitted.

This discussion is probably moot though because we haven't seen C2015 yet. They don't plan on doing anything here until C2015 is done.

It's no small secret that the company's plan is for 100 CRJ-200s in the system... I heard it straight from RA at a meeting about a month ago. They are looking at getting even more 717s on top of the additional 5 we just purchased due to the instability of the regionals.

Yeah, in the current system, however, the 200's we are getting back are going back to places we abandoned when fuel prices were too high. Keep in mind DCI is paying almost a dollar less per gallon for fuel since DCI isn't hedged.

Furthermore, management tells you what you want to hear, this is an airline for God sakes. You have to watch their actions.
