Quote: Wow, you'd think a guy with a brain as his picture would have some. There are so many talented and super smart pilots at endeavor that would pass any interview, the caveat is that delta has a vested interest in purposely denying employment to perfectly well qualified applicants and interviewees at Endeavor simply because that is where they need the pilots. On the same token, they have publically announced that the EtD interview IS A WATERED DOWN VERSION FOR LACK OF EXPERIENCE. It is literally a different set of interview standards than the one afforded to SSP interviewees. Im highly confident that should the legacy first officers get the opportunity to obtain some PIC time, they will be very successful at "qualifying" for any major airline job. And also smashing your face in for being such an excrement-bag for vagina-cleansing rinse.

well done. (filler)

Apparently the new program was supposed to be called 'Streamlined to Delta' but then realized it wouldn't be a good idea telling pilots they now have an StD.

And thanks to DELTA management for crapping all over a pilot group who has sacrificed so much to keep this operation going.
Are you kidding me? You sacrificed to save yourselves. Karma is now biting you in the ***. Can't say you don't deserve it.

Even with this agreement, very few pilots will apply to Endeavor. Endeavor needs pilots and will have to hire just about everyone who applies. That's what's funny to me. They act like the interview is going to start weeding people out. Now the SSP, they can turn down as many pilots as they want. Turning pilots down actually helps keep Endeavor staffed. Let's face it, Delta is not facing a pilot shortage on the mainline level. The two interviews are not the same and will never be the same.

Quote: No, you are just jealous that you don't qualify for Delta like the EtD pilots will. Or would you be willing to go through a newhire EtD interview and if you pass, you are in the program, but if you flunk, you are fired from Endeavor? How confident are you on your ability to pass a mainline interview? Put your money where your mouth is.
Of course we are jealous. Because its ****ed up. We've been working for cheap with top notch performance for years.

As you say it would be risking your current job. This would be a stupid thing to try no matter how confident you are. I for one, would not do such a thing.

Also, Delta has only hired 55% of SSP interviews.

If you really take Delta for its word on this, god bless ya. Delta is doing this to staff Endeavor and nothing more. They have no obligation to honor this program and the bottom line is if it comes down to them needing to staff Endeavor or give you your promised flow to Delta, which do you think will happen? I don't know all the facts, but this sounds at best for new hires 6 years at Endeavor before they would even become eligible for this flow, but my guess is even longer. That is many years spent at a crappy regional with no black marks holding out hope that the time you spent there will come to fruition and they will hold up their end of the bargain. So much can change in 6 or 7 years that its impossible to say how an agreement like this would pan out. As someone once said on here, do you really believe Endeavor will park planes, reduce routes, further jeopardize their staffing, etc just because your # is on deck to flow?

I am simply stunned at the behavior and tactics of these airlines as this is yet again another example of marginalizing their biggest asset to fix their failed business model and utterly gross mismanagement

By the time these new hires get the chance to go to Delta our contract will be up and the planes will be gone. I predict not a single person will see Delta as a result of the EtD program.

Maybe if they actually offered "manual inflation" the staffing issues would disappear.
