You can't use the excuse that Moak would have been sued if he didn't sign it. All of ALPA pushed it real hard, local and national. Moak would get on our local conference calls and push the confessions to us, is that his job? Pinnacle should of went away but Delta wasn't going to let them, they were a key piece to the puzzle. Either way a concessionary contract was going to be put in place to put downward pressure on the industry in a last desperate attempt to keep pilots cheap. The game is now over, if they want to keep Endeavor flying airplanes next year expect new hires to start getting Delta numbers later this year. If NY is as important as they say then expect to see real action soon.

We both know the reason management is making things better ... because as a labor group you failed so severely that no one except for you and your cadre are willing to work for what you voted yes to. So the market is fixing the problem for you.

Again, I very much hope your contract improves. It will improve, not as result of your work and not as fast as I would like, but it will get better.
Your doing it again Buck Rogers. Based on your comments and opinion as a mainline pilot, you failed the system by allowing regionals to exist and scope relief to them. So YOU failed the Industry! You and others want to blame everyone but what's in the mirror. Our pilot group did not chose to go into bankruptcy, we chose to survive because the alternative would have Been much worse and that would have done the same whipsaw effect. We're not spineless and haven't failed anyone.. We know why Delta does this it's no secret. If their wasn't a shortage in progress at regionals then Delta would continue to do what they always do.

Now they can't which is good news to all pilots. Improvements will come and pilots in General will prevail. Kicking a person while their down is selfish and unprofessional and shows lack of maturity..

Anyone who could read an 8-k knew the crisis was about as feal as the stage show at Chuck E Cheeze's, but you managed to put half the profession into concessionary bargaining in addition to screwing yourselves pretty royally.

ALPA allows MEC to bargain autonomously. It is right there in the Constitution & Bylaws. IMHO you screwed other ALPA members with your SSP.

Moak should not have signed it, but you'd have sued him if he didn't.
Again, Bar is the voice of reason. It's too bad these Endeavor guys are too blinded by their ignorance to understand the magnitude of the mistake they made.

If you're going to screw the rest of the regional pilots, at least have the dignity to not attack those who eloquently call you out on it.

Asa/Expressjet have a much worse record of on time performance and have more cancelations. Look at any given time on any given day via deltanet.

Lee Moak is DAL management, that should be very clear to everyone by now.

Furthermore, I find it amazing that ALPA is about to be sued for DFRing the downgraded pilots, and suddenly this LOA appears to rescue them(ALPA). Coinky-dink? I think not.........
