Fact: ALPA National left Pinnacle to twist in the wind, provided no leadership and allowed DAL to concentrate all their forces and funds on a small pilot group. That is unconscionable.
Fact: Pinnacle should have not accepted a deal not required by the BK judge but acted out of fear.
FACT: we should all pitched in for preferential hiring at other properties and let Pinnacle shutter the operation rather than start a race to the bottom for the rest of the industries.
Where to go from here? Start a bidding war for the pilots out there, encourage applicants to go to non bottom feeding operators, push for SLI for large RJ operators. Turn the tables, suck it up and swallow some pride.

Difference of $3 an hour at "year 12". Why do you even have year 18 at a regional anyway? If you are year 12 or more you have failed your family by not securing a real job versus being an at-risk contractor.
How many pilots has American, Delta and United hired in the last 12 years?

That is a very valid point, but the much more important question is how many they're going to hire in the next 12 years, and what you as an individual are doing to make sure you're one of them.

Oh wait, we're all too busy ****ing in the wind at each other.

Over 4,000. Delta is over 1,300 in that time period.

Flight departed late from Toronto. Maybe shut the phone down a bit earlier next time ?

Finding a solution to the divisions which destroy careers, longevity and seniority requires looking past individuals one would not want to fly at "their" airline. I take the long view.

The SSP made a mess of things. Do we now have junior pilots with better employment rights than their senior Captains? Will Delta start a flow which excludes a generation ... dead zoners?

I don't know. My humble advice is to use social media in a positive fashion.

I am not a moderator. You posted your information.

You state you are a 900 Captain. IMHO we should be flying something larger than 200's to such a nice city.

Attacking the moderators, cursing ... .

I rather like the moderators and should they choose to do their job we will sure miss you. Enjoy the lake.

something very positive coming is what gumbo said in his latest letter. I bet it's an SSP for everyone including newhires. what they fail to see, is that will not do a damn thing for our huge staffing issues at the present. We all know delta doesnt like flow so what will it be? There will be no flow or B-scale. So they will throw some hail mary in hopes it will help the current staffing problems, and it will fail.

That makes a lot of sense.

Forget glass houses. The number of just plain idiots in the industry is amazing.

They keep trying to sell the idea that Endeavor is a good place to begin one's career and then move on. They present pilots leaving for greener pastures as a positive and something they want for us. What they dont appear to get is that the horrible working conditions both drive the desire to leave this place as well as completely impede the ability to recruit. After all why would anyone want to come her when everyone here cant leave quick enough? With the projected numbers of industry wide hiring, no one with competitive qualifications HAS to come here. And not everyone wants to fly for Delta either. If this big news is just a further extension of the SSP to fo's, I dont believe it will slow attrition or attract new hires. Im quite curious.
