There is no law or legal requirement that requires an employee to give any notice before leaving a job. MANY cordially give notice as this seems more like business tradition.

This sounds like a late April fools day joke.

Company policy at Endeavor REQUIRES two weeks notice to be paid out accrued vacation.

They also REQUIRE doctor's notes if you call in sick during the last two weeks, to determine if you have met the "two week notice" requirement.

Considering that DAL has full access to current Endeavor employee records (way beyond what PRIA would give), it's not that far fetched.

Delta has a never interview again policy if you fail an interview. Whatever they do to filter those guys out when they look at apps could easily be used for this purpose as well. I used a similar system in another career it's as easy as pushing a button to mark somebody as not hirable.

More like spreading rumors so they can get warm bodies to show up.

Why take the risk even if it isn't true? We may not be paid like professionals, but taking 5 minutes to call and say 'thanks, but no thanks' is the professional and right thing to do IMO.

Why would you schedule an interview if you don't INTEND on showing up?

I understand interview for "practice", but no showing has always been bad, since day 1 of flight school....

Heck, if you are a current employee and you no show twice in 12 months you get terminated.
