I don't want them without jobs, I want them to be paid and treated better than a pile of trash. There is NO reason a pilot should have 10 years with a company and only make a guarantee of $33000/year flying a 76 seat jet, or 9 years at $32000/year, yet that's the current case at Endeavor. And I am still waiting for a reason that PSA even entertained the concessions they agreed to. As to why the pilots need to tell Bedford to F himself should be obvious (and from what I hear they need to say the same to the Teamsters).

I get the sense that people are thinking this announcement next week will be good news??? I have a hunch it will be something like American Eagle proposed last year, offer jobs to flight instructors at aviation colleges till they get their required flight time, give them a seniority number and flight benefits. There will be nothing good for current pilots.

and excuse me.... I suppose I meant 7 year FO's barely holding lines. I was one of them before I left. I could name a dozen I know personally. I spoke to one the other day at the light rail in MSP, hired early/mid 2007 so I know it's still happening.
Maybe on the 900, but no FO is locked to the 900. It is a buck and change difference an hour so if they wanted the better schedule they could have bid the 200. Your buddy in MSP is on probably on the "9" by choice. He would be top 30% on the 200 in minny. So its all relative. No its too late to bid over actually, but some did make the switch.

I hear Compass is moving close to 11 hires for upgrades? If true that's great news for the guys who made the move. You went to compass right, is this accurate? I wish I had the stones to make that move. Looks like you made a wise choice for now. Kudos

Most jr upgrade was hired in 4/11. Roughly 50 left to cover the flows this year. That would reach down to the end of 2011, beginning of 2012 depending on people bypassing. Upgrades will continue after that thought because the flows start again Jan of 2015. The first 2013 hires could potentially see upgrade in January-Feb.

I think it was around Nov or Dec 07 that were the ones that took it hard on the ISL. The Early 07 hires did pretty well. I am a Dec 07 and every 9e pilot that was on the list on date of sale is senior to me. My lines are all 11 day of lines. But it is what it is.
