I don't think he was being serious. But for starters would be increase pay, longer call out for NYC co-domicile, pick ups at 150-200% all the time, not at company discretion. To be honest I could care less about ship sets.

We as pilot know co-domiciles are important to the company or else Delta and American wouldn't have them. So it is definitely in the pilots favor to gain hold of the negotiations, I hope this bites management in the butt big time for being greedy.

I would bet everything the average interview class age is 30 years old or older. It’s all the people who were left behind after 2008 circling back from their piston freight job or some other form of bumming around for flight time.
If you think about it, Pinnacle will be losing most of the 200's. That's already been announced in Delta's 50 seat fleet reduction plan. So if they could hire enough now to be properly staffed - then as the 200's leave they'll have to furlough. Look at all of the training costs incurred. That's what put them into bankruptcy to begin with. Management had no idea how to put the 3 airlines together. The expense of training (Pinnacle-izing) all of the Mesaba and Colgan pilots to put them on the Pinnacle certificate was the dagger in the heart. Phil took the money and ran. If they only hire a couple of guys per month then they can give the 200's back at a faster rate if they can't staff them. What pilot who is qualified and has a job would willingly go to Pinnacle knowing this? What? For a preferential interview? Yeah right.

I said ship sets would have improved things significantly, and quoted where the guy before me complained about carrying his case back and forth. Do you debate that no longer having to carry a flight kit would significantly improve the reality of having to go to either domicile?

I didn't say that ship sets were the greatest thing since bjs and unicorns. You can't infer my vote or anything else based on my desire to carry less crap around. Don't put words into people's mouths.

All I gotta say is our MEC better not LOA this. I better get a VOTE on the co-domicile and improvements!!! None of this behind the curtain type deals...I want to see it first.

As a captain reserve, I took my flight case home after every trip because I never knew if I would start the next one with a deadhead (almost every trip for a 900 reserve either starts or ends with a deadhead if not both ways) How about this for a significant improvement, giving me back the $38/hour paycut I took being downgraded plus the $7/hr before that I lost thanks to the immediate paycut form the last scam bankruptcy. Give that back, maybe I will entertain Co-domicile for ship sets or Ipads.

Go back and read your post, I am not able to infer how you voted but you want me to infer meaning in your post that isn't there? So how did you vote then? With a pretty high probability I can say anyone that thinks ship sets "would have improved things significantly" was an 85 percenter. It doesn't help anything, talking about ship sets means they aren't talking about anything that really matters to the pilot group at large. You know what would improve things significantly? A pay raise or more paid time off. Ship sets . . . give me a break. You know what you can do with your ship sets?

If you think about it, Pinnacle will be losing most of the 200's.
A Endeavor/Pinnacle guy told me DAL told them that they could fly as many -200s as they could staff. Looks like that number will be 0 sooner rather than later...but that was not the plan, according to the pilot I spoke to.
