So does anyone know what the union is pushing for vs. the company for co-domicile in NYC? Im sure the company wants to give nothing back.

No co-domicile. Hopefully it stays that way. Keeping them separate will require more crews and we won't have to lug around our flight bag when we go home.

I dont believe its completely off the table just yet. They would have liked the agreement in place in advance of the opening of LGA but weren't able to make that happen.

They'll interview say 30 pilots, offer jobs to 10 of them and then only have 4-5 accept and even then only a few show. So the question now is why are they being so picky? Why do the new hire candidates need to meet Delta standards knowing darn well they're going to pay them below industry rates? I find it hard to believe they don't know why they can't hire. All the guys they want are going to other carriers. It is no secret that Delta has told us that we'll fly as much as we can staff, but what are they holding onto? I have to believe there is something they aren't telling us yet. Just my opinion. At this rate we won't be able to staff the 900's come this time next year.
I don’t think they have increased their screening process. They are just now interviewing people they formally wouldn’t have. Folks who failed too many rides or PC checks, people who quit after training somewhere else, people with a generally poor resume. The pool has been reduced to people who are not, “respectfully” pilot material but happen to have log books with 1500 hours in it. The pool of younger people has been bottle necked due to the change. I would bet everything the average interview class age is 30 years old or older. It’s all the people who were left behind after 2008 circling back from their piston freight job or some other form of bumming around for flight time.

Except that the company offered to go to ship sets for the 900s if we went to a co domicile. That would have improved things significantly.

Dont give mismanagement an inch. They have taken enough in the last year to last a career.

Improved "significantly" what kind of things? Are you suggesting ship sets were good enough for a co-domicile? Obviously you were one of the 85%. Your opinion on what would improve things significantly here and my opinion are not even in the same universe. Saying ship sets would have "improved things significantly" is asinine, I'm sorry, no intention to offend but you really need to raise your standards.

Did management offer anything else to go with those ship sets? Ship sets would save a ton of subscriptions one would think, probably worth co-domicile. Sounds like an excellent idea.

See, this is what boils my blood. Management has taken away from the pilot group for a long time, they have always gotten away with it.

They want co-domicile? start showing some love back to the pilot group, lots of it.

When will the day come were the pilot group will not bend over and give more and more concessions?

Im with windsor on this one, not one single hot darn inch...

You serious?? Co domicile shouldn't even be mentioned without addressing the deplorable FO pay rates, and for co domicile eff ship sets, they better resurrect the iPad discussion at the very least! Gone are the days we give without the take. The pendulum has finally swung our way.
