Some interesting wording regarding the rest of the 900 deliveries in the paragraph about fleet plan. Maybe just a typo...

Of UP to 70, there's 30 options. Nothing new here...

It says Endeavor though. Unless there was an announcement that Im unaware of the operator of the final batch of 30 has yet to be named. This article seems to suggest Endeavor will take them.

Grasping at straws my friend, the options have been known the whole time and of course Endeavor could get them, he obviously isn't going to be talking up a non wholly owned. Investors wouldn't like that, wait and see but this isn't any new information.

I doubt we could even staff that many planes if they were to come here. Im not jumping up and down about this. Its just the first time Ive seen a specific company named to operate these before an official announcement has been made. Im aware that the orders an options are old news though.

The extra 30, if they are delivered, will likely not be CRJ's since Bombardier isn't making them anymore. Our 40th will be one of the last CRJ's. Bombardier is in survival mode as a company right now, and needs to pour all its resources into the Cseries. Skywest is likely to get an MRJ contract with Delta for the extra 30.

Isn't the mrj supposed to be similar to the ERJ 175? If so I thought Delta has a weight restriction as to which the 175's were grandfathered in. Just trying to remember

They will make the 30 options. That has been confirmed by bombardier's liaison on loan to pinnacle. Also, PSA is getting new 900's so where would those come from? The assembly line is running so they will pump out the options until they are built at which time they will likely shut the doors and move over seas to focus on the c-series.

Kind of a sidebar, but I thought bombardier had all the layoffs and such due to corporate jet demand, not the -900/C-series program.

Did I just read the article incorrectly?

Bombardier has major structural problems in their company. This is why the Cseries is selling so poorly, if Boeing was building that thing the order book would be miles long.

Bombardier's financial release stated they weren't taking orders for anything other than some corporate jet models, and the Cseries. It looks like, according to the above post, that Bombardier plans to finish the extra 30 if Delta wants them.
