If we had voted No, they would have furloughed half this company to get the yes votes they needed. The whipsaw will never end folks, not until mainline takes the flying back, that is the only truth in the regional industry.

Crap!!! It's bad everywhere!!! Real talk...

Most people voted this POS contract just to survive another day...now that's the truth.
Skywest has been upgrading for the last 3 years and continues to do so at a rate of 12-25 a month.

Compass, XJT, Envoy and Republic are all currently upgrading just to name a few.

Don't try to justify the suck at Endeavor by saying all regionals are crap like yours. You guys are one of the worst to work at as demonstrated by your attrition, contract and what you all post up here.

Yeah, I have worked for 4 different regional carriers, endeavor being one of them. Endeavor is BY FAR the worst I have ever worked at. I mean, Endeavor still does not have an automated trip trade system, nor do they have a live updated reserve list. All that was supposed to come with our POS TA last year, but still nothing...and there is ZERO pressure being applied by the union on that issue

The union leadership at Endeavor has always been about trying to convince the pilot membership about how this LOA or this contract, despite being bad for us pilots, is necessary so that the company can survive. Hell, many times they sign LOA's giving up contractual protections in the contract, without even telling the pilots what they are doing. On top of that they do it for nothing in return. When will enough be enough? Who knows, but my guess is that the union will sign another LOA requiring hats for nothing in return other than, "it looks to Delta." This company know they can get whatever they want from the pilots. I have never been at a union airline where I truly felt I was paying my 2% for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON....and this is how I and many others at Endeavor feel. It feels as if they are working against you, and I cannot say that about the other 3 pilot unions that I have been a part of.

Combine the horrible union leadership, with 4 year FO pay caps, shrinking fleet due to high attrition, no upgrade in sight, bad hotels, no live reserve list or trip trade system, bad employee morale, (the list goes on) makes Endeavor the worst airline I have ever been a part of. I honestly don't know why anyone would want to come work at Endeavor Airlines as a new-hire. About the only reason I can think of would be that you could not get hired anywhere else.

That was my point also. FO's are leaving for regionals with upward movement. As far as one of the worst places to work at, it's a lot better than the old Pinnacle. The reason it sucks is because the movement is in the wrong direction, as more people have been leaving from the lower part of the seniority list. The Block integration of the seniority list also impacted many in a negative way. I only bring that up because that wound keeps getting opened up with every realignment/vacancy. After 9 years, and 6 years as a captain, I'm in the process of getting downgraded while people junior to me by date of hire are in the left seat of the 900. In my 9 years at Mesaba/Pinnacle/Endeavor I haven't seen moral as low as it is now. The company says they are are aware of the problems with attrition and the inability to attract new hires, but for months now all we hear is we're working on it. Nothing ever seems to get done. As far as the contract, of course it could be better. That's what happens in bankruptcy, as the laws favor the company, especially in aviation with the railway labor act. The thing is, I feel that even with our contract if we had forecast movement similar to Compass a lot more people would stay and come here.

What typical41 said is spot on. Endeavor was the worst place I've ever worked for many reasons. Also the union seemingly even goes out of their way to make it even worse.

We need new leadership in the union, period. The current regime hasn't demonstrated any ability and God only knows what LOA they'll agree to and we won't get anything in return. We shouldn't entertain any co-domicile talks until we get some major improvements, starting with the FO's.

Actually, if you were working for Colgan before the merger, the union has been pretty damn good to you. Especially, if you got the big seniority boost, year of paid vacation, and now the $25K bonus.

Or the poor 9L guys who went from 50% to 76% on the ISL. Let's not forget how good the integration was for Pinnacle FO's or so people were claiming the day it came out.

Delta asked us not to put the list together, however, the ALPA contract required it. 9L would all be out of a job right now or stapled.
