The top 20 FOs have the seniority to still have maximum days off with 75 hour lines. All the other line holders are being loaded up with the remaining trips causing low to minimum days off with lots of flying. If you want to fly vs. sit you will for sure. Also, while you may go to the 200 at first, you should be able to get to the 900 in one of the NY bases pretty quickly. At JFK company is offering 200% for pickups for the remainder of the month. So even on the 900 you will fly a lot!

Thanks - Really appreciate the thorough info. My thought process is that if I'm going to be flying vice sitting then I wont need a crash pad while sitting reserve (although I have friends and family in CT and NY). Im retired military so don't plan to be at a regional long so the I'm not counting/planning on the bonus.

As far as the interview I understand they have went away from the old Delta format/process since the SSP/EtD program has stalled?

SSP and EtD were two separate things. But the EtD is dead while the SSP is ongoing (not sure if current new hires will be included in the SSP or not perhaps someone else can provide that info). The interview for 9E should be much easier than it was under the EtD. While I do not know much about the current process, I would guess if you have the flight time, a pulse, and the panel thinks they would like you on a 4 day trip, you will get a CJO.

Many of the trips aren't commutable and reserve probably won't be commutable either. Why even bother with the regionals? If you aren't considering the bonus then that means you won't be at a regional longer than 6 months, I don't even see the need to go to a regional. The bonus money is probably the only reason to go to 9E. If you don't think you'll be there long enough to get the bonus money then go for QOL, somewhere you'll get off reserve in a month or two.

Why not the top 20 FO's? And with all that flying how much per month can you make/bring home?
Dada, even if you don't fly, you're still going to double the pay of another carrier's RSV FO that doesn't fly.
