I can give you my word I do not have a Delta app, nor plan on one. I post in other airline threads just to keep up with what's going on and to have some fun.

That's a whole different topic for a whole different thread. Everyone's mileage will vary, but there were LOTS of Gulfstream/AllATPs/JetU/CAE pilots at 9E.

Debating minimums should be in a whole different thread as well. Why don't you go start it?

(By the way, nice job side stepping the issue.)

Minimums is part of the SSP which is relevant to the thread. Thoughts on CFIing VS bridge program is unrelated. I have no interest to start that thread. In my case I considered all routes and chose the one I thought would be best based on the information I had at that given moment in time.

I guarantee you Delta wants the degree because of the commitment to learning and bettering yourself as an individual. Higher education does add to an all-around individual, look at the stats. Its then same reason other industries require degrees for advancement. Delta knows you can fly an airplane by looking at your logbook and safety records, but they want more than a pilot. Talk to any HR person and they will echo this. It is obvious we are all pilots, they want the all around person. Getting your degree is far more involved than just sitting in a class room.

Yeah, I know what the HR folks say. I still find it hard to believe my 26 year old BS in Science Education makes me a more valuable asset in the cockpit. Most of the physics I learned is obsolete, but at least I know the difference between a'a' and pahoehoe lavas.

Find another hobby. Stop wasting your time with an issue that doesn't concern you anymore. More importantly, please stop making the rest of us here at VX look like douche bags. Most of your comments are embarrassing and I'm often embarrassed for you.

You clearly have a tarnished reputation with your former coworkers and I know that lots of your current coworkers are beginning to feel the same way. Do yourself a huge favor and change your tone or stop posting.

I don't want to step on the wrong toes, so I'll tone it down back into my lil corner.
