You and Shy just LOVE for the opportunity to compare former co-workers, by any means possible and by any stretch of the imagination, to scabs. You both ALWAYS say that exact same thing, and it shows how ignorant you are to be throwing that around. And don't give me "I didn't say scab." You know darn well what you meant or you wouldn't have even mentioned crossing a picket line.

What's more embarrassing? Making $5/hr less than the next airline or making $5/hr more with large 70-100 seat aircraft orders? I don't know of a single regional that has a payscale worth bragging about. This is all a crapshoot.

I haven't written anything about scabs in this thread, why am I being dragged in?

Guilty by association and for making reference to it in the past.

Is it me...or is operations declaring an IROP every time it sneezes in New York. Been here for almost 7 years, and this is the most I've ever seen Is this the new norm or are we just that short staffed?

How can we be this short staffed? We lost all the Q400s and Saabs, and the ATL 900s. We should be better staffed than prior to all of this happening. Yes we have lost a few hundred pilots, but not even enough to account for all the guys who came over from Colgan alone. It can't be blamed on training, the majority of the guys who have been sitting around waiting for training have gone through the transition to 9e.

Because screw scheduling is more concerned with burning up everyone's duty time with deadheads than with actual revenue flying. They create 5 problems with their solution to one.

We have lost around 750 pilots since Sep 2011 plus all of the ELOA/LOA's and voluntary furloughs. So I could see us being short staffed because 9e and 9L were short staffed going into the merger. (not saying we are short staffed just could see how)

I think the union made a joke in the last union email.

"Crew Pay endeavors to code and process ESL payments within two days"
