Don't like my pedigree? I think most of the Mesa hate is/was directed at the management team there, not the pilots (who voted in a concessionary contract to eliminate an alter ego carrier).

It took a certain type of person to make it through the hell that was employment there. Most of us have found new jobs, so we all must not be too abhorrent. YMMV.

Yes there is. Outside of regional pilots and people in Buffalo, no one knew the Colgan name, even post crash. Hell, most of the times I jumpseated on mainline those guys hadn't even heard of Colgan. It did not carry the baggage that you are stating.
