Is this a rejection letter?
Hey all,
I applied to Endeavor on Airline Apps last night for an FO position. I got this email this afternoon and this is how it reads:
"Thank you for your interest in Endeavor. At Endeavor, we take pride in being a great place to work, offering a family-like culture that is focused on safety, founded on our core values, honest and transparent communications, and committed to excellence in all we do.
Our airline has been fortunate to have a high volume of quality pilot candidates. As a result, we have been able to extend enough job offers to pilot candidates to fill our new hire classes.
We will retain your application for future openings and will be in touch when we are able to move your application on to the next stage of the selection process. Additionally, we will provide you with updates when there are changes to our pilot hiring needs.
We appreciate your interest in Endeavor Air."
I know, I know. It doesn't directly tell me "no." But that infamous line of "We will retain your application for future openings and will be in touch when we are able to move your application on to the next stage of the selection process" I have heard soooooo many times when applying to part 135 companies and flight schools. That's their way of saying no. Has anyone recieved this message from Endeavor before and then been interviewed? Or, like all of those flight schools and 135 companies, is this also Endeavor's way of saying TBNT? What also has me scratching my head is two of my friends just spoke to some Endeavor guys as Oshkosh and they were told Endeavor is still hiring FOs at 1500 hours, so I wasn't anticipating this reply.

Whether the classes are filled or not is largely irrelevant; what they are not doing is offering an interview to the original poster at this time. What they are also not doing is discarding the application. (S)he may or may not get a call or notice in the future.
My present job interviewed me a year and a half before contacting me with a job offer. The interview went well, and I expected to hear back, but nothing for that year and a half. I got a call one night shortly after checking into a hotel. Still interested? Yes. See you Monday.
The longest I've had was eight years...eight years after the interview, I was called for class, without a peep in the interevening years. Not the usual thing, to be sure, but the employer hasn't outright rejected the application, and has advised they'd keep it on file. That's the beginning and the end of it. Moving forward, you'll either hear from them one day, or you won't. It's not a rejection letter, and it's not an offer. It's a status update. What others are doing, whether intereviewing or getting hired by that employer, is irreleevant. You're not, and that's where things stand. It speaks to the present, and not to the future. An interview invite might come along, or a notice that the application has been round-filed might occur. Or quite possibly nothing. The employer gets a lot of applications.
A job search hasn't really begun in earnest until you've sent out a thousand applications. Start there.

If you look at the major forums, most major airlines have issued all the CJOs they are going to issue for this year. Since that's the usual departure path for most regional personnel, they are going to be stuck in the regionals for a while longer. Once Boeing and Airbus start to catch up on their delayed aircraft delivery schedules that may change. Best option for you is to keep applying to any 121 job you are likely to get, not just endeavour, but all of them, and keep getting hours and doing things to bolster your resume in the interim.
