Better yet, keep updating your apps and stop waiting for a flow and all the worry about the future of (insert your regional here) will seem like a distant memory. No longer will flows, the gold standard, the staple matter.

. That's the point though if Delta wanted to shrink Endeavor they could have saved 300 to 400 million spent on retention / 60 percent pay raises, early Captain pay etc. and just let it bleed out . The only reason Endeavor got a flow is they signed some 5 year contract extension to get it ( before the retention and higher pay increases) and sold the senior people and everyone else down the river .

That is some serious revisionist history. EDV got the flow after DALPA and Delta management discovered that they would have to park 30 76 seat RJs permanently with the flow down to Compass terminated as they shut down. EDV ALPA was offered a carbon copy of the flow up/down agreement that Compass had and I don't blame them for taking it. During my time at EDV unrestricted flow was always number 1 on the list of priorities and they got it. It was broadly popular and certainly didn't sell the senior pilots down the river. If it harmed anyone, it was the pilots coming up on DGI eligibility who then had to wait behind a bunch of pilots who had 3 or more chances to get to mainline by that point.

yes! This is accurate. The Dude’s present feelings don’t change the past. The flow was wildly popular with the top 25% of the seniority list (excluding the opt outs), and a punch in the gut for the mid seniority guys who lost their dgi interviews and had to wait another 2 years to get to delta.
