Probably 4-5 years. MSP is the lifer captain base at Endeavor. Captains with 5+ years of seniority regularly on reserve there.

Majors ain't really hiring right now. F9 is pushing back class dates. NK is yeah. I couldn't tell you about B6 and WNs attrition has stopped on a dime.

F9 is hiring I just watched two get hired a few days ago. But their hiring is slower right now due to a huge backlog they have - they have slowed classes lately. Still hiring just a slowdown but I expect that to ramp up somewhat soon. I'll say this. The two guys they hired were international experienced dudes with time in other parts of the world. The two dudes they sent home were RJ FOs under the age of 26. Send your app away but it's not a fog the mirror ordeal moving on to F9/NK/B6/WN right now.

2022/23 was the best hiring window in airline history I'd say. 2024 will be more stodgy for sure, for reasons you've said. Not going to be the whole "apply and get 3 calls" deal anymore.

Still a pretty good outlook. You could hire every current active regional pilot in existence and it still would result in the big 4 being 3500 pilots in the hole..... not even accounting for annual growth of about 1.8k pilots per year (across the big 4).

People want to claim it's over, but we're largely just getting started.

It is like a sledge hammer on a large stone. You just keep after it, it is going on for several more years.

Default Junior FO base

Could a brand new FO go anywhere other than NYC after IOE? I'll do whatever I have to, just curious. Is new hire class seniority by age or SSN?

Thanks, Folks.
