This really blind sided us CFI's sitting at mins waiting for a class date.
yea I was being ominous lol. What is your impression of the change as a propel member?

For me personally? I got completely screwed over. I couldn't get any CJO's from anyone besides republic so I told Propel I was going to pay for my own ATP/CTP to be more competitive and move up through their program. I passed on multiple 135 opportunities just to stay in propel. After completing ATP written still haven't heard back from any other regional which is fine, but was hoping to hear something soon. Republic told me they may be able to get me in somewhat quickly if a spot opens up in one of their class dates since I have the ATP written done. I was hoping to get a class date in the near future with them and buy my way out out of the contract to get to Delta in 42 months max. Now they are telling me since I don't have a class date, I now have to go to Endeavor and go through their CAP flow. What is the point of being in propel if I am just now going through a normal flow which might take 7 years? I also spent about 5 thousand dollars for nothing. They may also throw me in line with the STEP pilots which who knows how long a class date will take. This completely screws over CFI's with CJO's without a solid class date, especially those that already paid for the ATP CTP to be more competitive.

this is all completely valid and reasonable criticism of the change. And one I would certainly pass on to them.

Our airline has been fortunate to have a high volume of quality pilot candidates. As a result, we have been able to extend enough job offers to pilot candidates to fill our new hire classes.
We will retain your application for future openings and will be in touch when we are able to move your application on to the next stage of the selection process. Additionally, we will provide you with updates when there are changes to our pilot hiring needs.
We appreciate your interest in Endeavor Air."

Are you in STEP or Propel? I received a similar message hinting to the lines of "keep waiting" (several months now).

Only propel or step are getting hired. Or direct entry captain.

As far as I know. This is what’s happening and will continue to happen. Apparently people alone meets the staffing requirements as of now.
