God when that guy said Lennys i could smell it. Somehow that place always smelled like breakfast food.
Anyone old enough to remember when theyd give us child menu delux? Is was enough food AND you got chips. 4 bucks i think?
*Grandpa story time* back in the saab if you flew to TUP or Browntown (greenville ms) you didnt even turn on the auto. Just yaw damp on after rotation. Jet guys dont know the value.

My point to your merger comment is this. It’s a pipe dream. IF it happens, it won’t be for years. They can’t even react to pay adjustments other than to “collect data” and shrink the airline. If anyone come to 9E right now, it better be because they live in DTW or CVG. Any other base has better options.

I’m not being pessimistic. I think 9E is a great place to work… up until a few months ago anyway. Right now, schedules suck, junior man’s are out of control, min day off every month… but I don’t really care. I’ll be out of here by end of year. Would I recommend 9E to anyone? No way. Management has showed they don’t care to meet the industry standards with the latest pay raises. They are happy to keep spewing the “Gold standard” bs line, while we send more pilots to United every month than we do DL (outside of flow) because we are apparently to “good” to interview OTS.
