TBNT from HR phone interview

DTW sucks as a commuter. Every month more trips start at 630a. It’s ridiculous. Just look at the open time pot. Nearly every trip starts before 7a. This wasn’t the case until a few months ago. We have lost over 100 pilots in the past 3 months, and every month my schedule gets less commutable. Should be getting better, not worse.

Next month every trip is commutable for me and I credit 83hrs. All 4 days...

that’s the only way to get more than 12 days off on the 200 in DTW. The trips are absolute trash. Better off bidding reserve

Line holder in atl..it's going to.be min days off for a while. Need to be at least top 30% to hold more than min days off. Hoping the slowdown in travel allows for more days off but highly doubt it. Trips are just inefficient...no reason to have 13 days off next month and only credit 77 hrs. I have 5 4 day trips...

flyingfiddler probably was a 2015-2016 hire. Held a line straight out of training in NY with 17-18 days off since trips were so much better back then. Upgraded after 18 months with decent captain seniority. I find these pilots to be extremely out of touch with pilots hired 2017 or later.

200 sucks because the legs are short, so the trip credit is usually min day. Less productive days means less days off. On the 900, a lot of the long legs were replaced by the A220, so that killed a lot of the more efficient trips.

Everything is min day credit unless you're senior enough to hold 5 day trips all month. Hardly ever see a 4 day that's 17 hrs or more on the 900...
