For what it's worth, I agonized for months and months over which offer to accept last summer (Endeavor, Republic, and maybe SkyWest). I chose Endeavor, have recently finished OE, and just did my first stint on reserve in NYC.
I've been very happy with my choice thus far. The company has treated me and my classmates very well. I have zero complaints or regrets about coming here.

CJO was given in July, and they gave me the option to start as early as July, but I had other items I needed to finish up first: summer classes, training scholarship, etc.
Seriously though. Very happy. Great training environment. Great hotels. Lots of opportunities during training to spend time at home w/ family. Got to go home every weekend just about, which made those delays in training a non-issue, as I got to spend them at home on their dime.
I think I've been upgraded to at least comfort plus, if not first class, on all of my company travel thus far. I've also only had 3 deadheads so far during OE, and 2 of the 3 were comfort plus seating on mainline. I guess I got lucky on those.
I fell ill between OE trips. Called scheduling, and they said don't worry about it. I told them I'd call them back when I was feeling better. I did. No questions asked. I've only had good interactions with the scheduling department thus far, but I suppose that could always change. Still, it's been only pleasant up to this point. I hear that's not the norm elsewhere.

Started class mid Sept, had a few delays in training, but no failures or set backs. Everything was outside of my control. They started doing this new "dynamic scheduling" thing, and are/were working out the kinks.

Yeah!!! I’ll definitely acept it if I’m given a CJO! I hope I receive a call from the selection team! Thank you for your response!

The Delta interview is not contractual, it can come and go at their whim, if they want Endeavor competitive then it will stay.
Think about it in numbers, it’s a guaranteed interview, if they take 50% (which will be higher, even the SSP was at 65% successful) you have a 1 in 2 chance of getting to Delta as an Endeavor pilot.
Just getting an interview at Delta is hard.
Some guys have made it to Delta by other routes quicker, but it’s all in the numbers.

The quality of our hotels is my biggest complaint here. We stay at a lot of decent places but in the middle of no where.
Don’t get me wrong this is a great regional to be at but there are things to be improved upon and some things are just sometimes down right frustrating st times.

Hotels are quite often in the middle of a business park or warehouse district but they are slowly getting better (no, to very limited food options within reasonable walking distance) We’ve shed some of the worst offenders recently. But it’s still an uphill battle.

I have submitted hotel complaints and have seen a few places get the boot, so the company does work with us in that regard.
Commuting to reserve in NYC is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Crashpad is around $300, give or take. Public transportation will cost you about $20-$50 a month, even after the company reimbursement of $50. Food is really expensive. I tried to cook my own meals in the crash pad, but would still end up spending quite a bit of money. If you budget $20 a day, which is low, you will end up spending $360 on food.
An easy commute is only half of the battle. If you can hold on for 6 months to a year and handle reserve life, this isn't a bad place to be.

That isn't exactly true. There is a glitch where we can request FC or C+, but the gate agents don't see it. You can flash your badge and try to sweet talk the gate agent (good luck in NYC, lol), or just hope you get it. This definitely isn't a priority for Delta IT to fix, as it has been ongoing for months. It's a bit annoying, but on my list of complaints, it ranks pretty low.
The problem with hotels is that everyone wants something different. It's hard to please everyone. I'd rather be at a hotel that is 5 minutes from the airport on a 30 hour overnight with a 5am show than something 40 minutes away, but I understand other people have different priorities.

Wow NYC is going to be a pain then, my other option is ATL as we have MANY flights out of Puerto Rico to ATL.
I’m good with any hotel I’m assigned(better than sleeping in the field for 20+days with out a shower or change of cloth). But yeah, it’s a cruel reality that in the regional world you get low pay for the job you do(don’t get me wrong Endeavor is well paid compared to others). I might just end up at CBP after Ft. Rucker lol

If you scroll down on the main endeavor page here you’ll see a thread that’s all about junior FO bases and was just updated a few days ago, it’s titled “most junior FO lineholder/base”. Long story short you’ll be in New York for a bit. While i said DTW is more junior than ATL for the moment it’s still pretty senior.
