(that time they actually chose to furlough some new hires that ended up being offered spots at Colgan or Pinnacle) Then we had years of stagnation. No growth and basically nobody moving on either. At least now we haven't furloughed for the overstaffing, there is no sale/merger looming, and there are still some people moving on (granted mostly from the middle 1/3rd of the list). The pay and work rules are better now too. It's not the best times but it's far from the worst. I just hope this isn't heading toward the road that the 2009 road was as that just about put this place out of business.
Maybe it is maybe it isn't, the industry changes too much too quickly to really understand if the truck is gonna run you over until you wake up in the emmergency room. Enjoy the money and days off and get outa there before the worst should happen.

Oh, why didn’t you just say that then?

Even Delta pilots make mistakes sometimes.

I was also dealing with stupid people all day (not at work), which didn't help my mood. It honestly wasn't meant to come across like that but I didn't catch how it sounded until the reaction.

And that string of excuses is as close to an apology as you're going to get!

Forgive me me for thinking “j-off to Delta” meant something other than you defending my exclusivity to my “bit.” I guess my Urban dictionary isn’t up to date. And I’m not confusing you with anyone, just responding to that especially vivid comment.

Delta pilots are not contractually allowed to apologize.

You are correct that Gojo is owed one though. Gojo, I am sorry for that.

So why are people ****ing and moaning that a few DAL guys are still visiting the 9E boards? I would think this is a good thing, is it not? There is several 9E guys who visit the DAL boards. It’s not like there is a hat check to comment.

There are some that are too dumb to figure out this is a public opinion board.

I don’t believe that’s the case. It’s more the way opinions are presented. Insensitive and sensitive don’t go together very well. And we all have our days. Most of the time it gets worked out
