Default If you were NYC based....

1. Which regional would you choose?
2. If control of your schedule were important, does that effect your decision?
3. If you were hoping for night and weekend flying more than during the weekday, does Republic hold an edge based on the amount of shuttle flying?
4. How real are the flow agreements that Envoy and Endeavor have?

Thanks for the advice!

1- I am happy I came here to endeavor, it’s been one of the better decisions I have made and am happy with it, if you’re dream is to work for American however then apply to envoy

2- if you are New York based at endeavor, you can get pretty senior pretty fast, especially on the 200, when I was a first officer I was bidding number 10 in base after 6 monthes, I was able to drop and swap almost everything I wanted ( toward the end of the month) I had a fair amount of flexibility and got 18 days off a month

3- idk enough to comment about this

4- Endeavor does not have a flow

This is old info. The 200 has no movement since pretty much every new hire class is getting all 900s. it's a dead end.

So is QOL dead as well?

Are trips NYC (meaning a month can have LGA and JFK flying) or just one airport?

How long is reserve for NYC?

A solid QOL is attainable, we have a new TA coming out for a vote next month that can make some improvements as well. Right now our bases are split but if this new contract passes it would be a co domincile. Meaning you’d be based at both Lga and Jfk and do flying from both. I’ve heard that you could make preferences though to where you’d like to fly out of. I’m not a first officer anymore but I’ve had people in the last month tell me 3 monthes and 8 monthes. If someone new could Chime in about that it would be more accurate than what I know I’ve kinda stopped paying attention to that.

Feb 21 hire. I'm holding a line in LGA and people in my class who bid JFK are still on reserve. On the republic note, I had a person in my crashpad who said all the LGA flying was day trips and occasionally 2 days. That's all I know though.

Another stupid question, if you're previous 121, do you start on probation for 6 months, or are you already ALPA if you were a full ALPA member before?
