I use clarity alofts. I hated their "proprietary" ear plugs so I got custom ear molds and it makes the headset even more comfortable. Highly recommend it. When I had issues they were really quick about fixing it too so the customer service is great.

You can use your uniform $$ for a headset if you purchase it at the stopover store (crew outfitters) ... Or you can call them and they will complete the purchase over the phone.
I had about $20 left I the uniform bank...was in DTW long enough to get a DC Pro X... Used the remaining balance and the rest on my card.

For the clarity Aloft. Buy them new from their website, not Amazon or anything. So you can take advantage of their trial period and return it if you don't like them. The people who like them love them, but everyone else hates them. If you can stand having ear plugs in all day then it's fine. Also, the cord and mic are fixed to the left side. So if you're an FO that means draping the cable across your body and fussing with it, or behind your back and getting it stuck. The headset is really light (awesome) but that means when you tug on it on accident it pulls it off of your head.
And don't forget that the pro is the only one TSO'd. Not that anyone really pays attention to that, but if you're a by the book kinda guy....
I've bought and tried
Bose A20
Lighstpeed Sierra
Lighstpeed Zulu
Lighstpeed PFX
Telex 750
Telex 850
Clarity Aloft
DC pro x
And I ended up returning them all except the DC pro X. Best combination of features, and active ANR is absolutely the way to go. The 850's aren't "true" ANR.

If you commute the uflymike is the way to go. It’s not as good as the bose a20 but it’s far superior to the telex 850. I haven’t tried the DC I imagine they are similar but the option to have a nice noise canceling headset for airport sits deadheads the commute is well worth it.
