Total market hours move up for October by 823 departures for the CM9 and 663 for the CPJ. For November the CM9 will see a drop of about 100 departures and the CPJ will drop about 500 departures.

ATL will remain our biggest operation for the CPJ which will siphon its hours from DTW and MSP and a touch from LGA. A continuing decline is observed for the CPJ from MSP and DTW so for those of you whom have bid out of that category, good job.

CM9 MSP category breathes a breath of life as a steady increase of about 200 departures is observed from September to November as well as an increase in DTW for that category. CM9 JFK sees a drop of about 150 in the same span of time and LGA is negligible. Go fish.

Thanks for posting. I look up these numbers myself, but it's good to post them so everyone can see.

GoJet cant cut their own meat in NYC.. here 9E.. you do it
ExpressJet gets pimped by SkyWest in ATL.. here 9E.. you do it
.. all at the expense of DTW and MSP... throw in that we now have higher goal numbers than ever.. in the most difficult logistical areas... What the hell does being owned by DL get us... oh that's right... the ability to NEVER get to tell them NO on anything... then.. thank them when a crumb falls off the table that we can eat off the floor... here.. take back the PQ 900s you used to own and operate them... SkyWest.. here.. you take the new E175s... but hey.. Eddie B says we are the gold standard...

Skywest buys their own airplanes. Also, giving them decent performing routes allows them to be profitable, while reducing contract costs with Delta. We on the other hand are Delta's whipping boy, since as a wholly owned, we don't need to make any profits.

Why do you show up week in week out on a pilot forum to ***** and moan?

I'm happy, everybody I fly with is too. You're way off base for how this place is man. You need a beer and a hobby.

Point still stands. If you hate the job so much as a MX guy, that you spend time, presumably at home, on a pilot forum, complaining about the job, why do it? If he hates it that bad, go work somewhere else. There's no shortage of A&P jobs in the DTW area...
