Really not sure what the point of ramping up hiring is is when we have more than 90 fos on reserve in NYC next month. The solution to the sim back up is street captains or enticing senior fos to upgrade. why spend all the sim time to train an fo then 1 month later send him through upgrade? He's flying the sim more than the plane! Also consider we've been doing just fine getting people through training in 3 months and growing our seniority list by 20 a month. That's plenty for a lot of growth... 2 planes a month.
In all reality I've heard they've sent people to Quebec and Copenhagen in the past.
