You will have the least amount of time on RSV in NY, but I'll let someone up there tell you whether JFK or LGA is better.
The 200 will always have new hires on it, just not the volume it was this time last year. Especially as the junior 200 guys panic and bid over to the 900, prior to the 18 month seat lock hitting them. It really wouldn't surprise me to see a few classes around the end of the year, early 2018, be 200 heavy. 17-05 is going to be FO movement heavy, I'd bet.

Yes that's a part of this LOA... should have the answer by about Thanksgiving. I'd guess that with the 900 growth coming to ATL, that's your best bet if you want ATL. General rule is avoid a shrinking fleet, go to the growing fleet. But there are other variables (such as the closing of MSP that can throw that off)

So is Atlanta gonna be primarily 900s over 200s?

We are going to have about 106 900's plus 3 700's compared to 40 200's company wide, so everywhere is primarily 900's

Wow. That's a bigger shift than I thought.

I think most classes will be -900 then. Probably start in NY for new hires.

Just spoke to a recruiter today and asked what they've been seeing with new hire classes. Said they've been seeing the majority of new hires going to 900's, with only a few on 200's. Also said that you can expect JFK or LGA for new hire domiciles, but the difference between those two won't matter if/when the TA is voted in.

That's what it's been since last year. There's more of a split now. So instead of 6 in a 200 class you probably have 3 or 4.

The closing of MSP 200 is a big variable that wasn't part of previous vacancies. Those are some of the most senior pilots in their seats and can displace anywhere else in the system. You could see several of the bottom MSP 900 pilots forced out of their seats even as MSP is a base that has an abnormally large amount of non commuters.
