Is there a particular assignment that everyone wants?

Default bases

I hear alot about the MSP 200 base "closing". Does this mean the base in its entirety is closing or just the 200's are leaving. Will the 900's replace the 200's in MSP?

The existing 900 base is staying, the 200s are leaving. They won't be replaced but there will still be some MSP based flying.

I would bid the 200 as it will get you to ATL the fastest and also will hold a line quicker. When you can hold ATL on the 900 then change your bid. 2 to 9 no seat lock so start with 2 and you can switch to 9 with no lock. Go from 9 to 2 and 24 mo seat lock as FO...no seat lock when upgrading.

No. You are in class all day, 5 days a week. Then you need to study at the hotel on your own or in groups. Weekends are a good time for review, but some chose to fly home instead. Not saying stay in the books 24/7, definitely take half a day or so on the weekends to unwind, maybe hit the gym each night if that's your thing. But you need to be in the ipad for the most part during training.

Down time is for after you complete OE.
