Sorry, this'll be my first 121 flying, only 135 and 91 done before so I can't shed any light on this either. It's just what they were happy to hear, and corrected me when I said "Chief Pilot as well". Saying Chief Pilot was more for ops and that yes this could be handled with professional standards/union.

Did they shed any light on likely junior base assignment these days? Upgrade time for prior 121 w/1000 in CRJ?

Junior Base is NYC -LGA & JFK. Expect in 2017 for the bases to be combined; like mainline.
If you do have the 121.436 (from memory) expect to upgrade very quickly. You can bid for the next vacancy as soon as you have competed your OE.
There is a slight discount on the ground school if you're already CL-65 rated.

So ATL is not considered a Junior Base? How does the assignment of bases work for Endeavor? Thanks in advance.

For right now, expect LGA900 or LGA200. Every base has been obtainable (including MSP900) within 3 or 4 months so far this year. Will that continue? No idea.

Always bid what you want and not want you think you might get. People bid differently for all kind of reasons. For example, if I were the senior person in class due to age, I would bid the -200 only because I want ATL eventually. And I assume there will be a year or two seat lock unless you upgrade?

No seat lock in initial. Seat lock if you go 900 to 200.

As I understand it ATL just opened up 1 June 2017. It will be a growing base and lines will be added as needed to fulfill the mission requirements. It is a -200 base right now, but that's not to say the -900 may be added in the future if/when warranted.

So another rookie question, you bid on the aircraft and then the HUB? Or is it a: "Here is a list of the available aircraft with their locations, you are up to pick what will it be?" kind of thing? So at Endeavor as CaptYoda pointed out, the ranking on when you are up to pick is based on age?

Yes, your option will be like LGA900 FO, DTW200 FO, ATL200 FO...etc. You just put them in order from your most desired to least desired. But lets say you want ATL, you should have all the 200 FO positions first and then the 900 positions that way they see you want 200. But you will also order them in which base you would prefer, and still as of now you will only get NYC. But once a vacancy comes out you can choose to try to switch bases if you don't like your initial base award.

Yes seniority in your class is based on age, oldest is most senior and goes down from there.
