Don't assault the interviewer or show up hammered drunk. That's all

Believe it or not but we've had a good amount of people told to come back in 6 months. Even previous jet drivers. Not sure where they went wrong but it happens. This isn't Mesa

Maybe they showed up drunk. I kid I kid. But for real the job is yours to lose, prepare for a little bit, wear a decent suit and tie. Be polite and not a psychopath and the job is yours.

I interviewed this week. Aviation interviews is 97% spot on. For the other 3%, the questions asked were very similar to aviation interviews. If you have a few stories that relate to the TMAAT questions, you will be able to shift gears fairly easily. Be honest, be yourself and relax. It didn't feel like the interview was a gimme and they are looking for quality people. PM if you want more details, but I have nothing more than what is already on aviation interviews. Feel free to PM if it helps settle your nerves, I GET IT.

Probably the worst advice ever. Hopefully you're kidding.

A pilot I know at EDV tells me that there are company mins to meet before you can upgrade, and that those mins are moving targets. Can anyone comment further?

True, FAR's require 1000 hours of either part 121 SIC or certain 135 or 91K PIC. That can't be waived. The company also wants 2500 total and 1000 company time. Those can be waived if not enough people meet these times to fill all upgrades. The details to the priorities and ratios compared to seniority, I do not know.

All of this is spot-on, but wanted to add the military clause; if you have jet time, your military time can count for 500 of the 1,000 121 hours required.

As to the 2,500 TT and 1,000 CT being waived, some bids they are lowered, and some bids they are not. And it's base specific, meaning ATL might not get minimums lowered but NY does. This just happened on 17-04.

The military clause is, if you have 2500 Turbine, you can credit 500 towards 121 time.
