That's what I thought at first, but the 320 departures are down by too great a margin in too many bases for it to be just that. Meanwhile they said they would boost staffing in some of these categories due to aircraft deliveries. I'm wondering if there is a mistake somewhere. AE headcount numbers should be interesting.

It could be a error or it could also be a change in stage lengths. They try and keep aircraft with IFE on the long haul flights. Are the Airbuses getting wifi added? Halve the departures but double the stage length and you need the same amount of pilots.

All have wifi and all are getting IFE (plus more seats).
