Here's another question for you guys. If I for some reason get awarded a base other than ATL while in training, and then do my training in ATL would I get per diem during basic indoc and sims?

Thanks.

Not initial training. You only get per diem and hotels if you train in MIA.

Not all, no. I have 3 Sims in LAS. The rest in ATL.

I know some 320, and used to 717. Don't know if 717s are still doing some there or not

Delta (and other companies) outsource for sim time...the sim and instructors (in some cases)...or they fly Delta IPs to the location ("dry lease")

320 and ER (and maybe still the 717) have some portions of the trng (for some IQ FOs and CAs) in MIA

I think all CQ ("recurrent") is in ATL...don't quote me on that

I think outsourced sim trng ebbs and flows with trng center construction, sim swap-out, maintenance, etc

Luck of the draw as far as I can tell
