DAL Class drops

We have a ton of all nighters that day sleep 12 hours then fly 2 legs that night. If you don't get that you get the 24 hour layover after the all nighter so you are doing a 6AM East coast departure the next day.....those suck so bad I prefer the day sleep then 2 legs.

Oh yeah because it's the same type of trip he's talking about but on a different fleet it doesn't apply....got it.

The have enough departures in SLC to have a base. I didn't know the 717 did any of the all-nighters to day sleep trips out of SLC....I thought I did all of those on the 320.

Mike posted:
Garbage trip is a 5 day trip with 20 legs and a 29-30 hour layover @ KLFT. (717) BTW that 30 hour begins at midnight and van pickup is 0430 for 3 of the 5 days. Then there's the infamous NYC 717 dayover 1 day trip. That was a 0600 departure from KEWR, 1 leg to KATL, 12-13 hour dayover, 1 leg back to KEWR. Paid 5:15 and blocked in right around midnight. Have fun with that if your crash pad is in Kew Gardens.
Sorry, the ER can't touch the NB for garbage trips.

Then I posted a reply to Mike's post: (specifically referring to NYC-717 based trips)
Then you posted:
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot were you even talking about? Who cares if SLC has their own, and LAX has some too? It has zero relevance to Mike's post and my reply.

Glad they got rid of that one. I was only giving an example of what garbage looks like.
When I was a new hire one of my new hire compatriots on the NYC 717 made a pretty big mistake on his 1st month ever bidding. Thinking he was probably going to be stuck on reserve, he bid a quickie line that had nothing in it other than 'award trip if layover city is Atlanta'. He got 13 of those dayovers in 1 month .

It was also about a specific one day trip that was terrible. The union was able to get the company to agree to stop building one day trips like that.
