DAL Class drops

The initial bids on a new airplane usually do go fairly senior. Probably because the company usually trains people and then they sit and wait for deliveries of the aircraft. IOW, they could possibly sit for a few months and not do anything but go to the sim for initial and then recency. Not a bad deal. Cost of introducing a new air frame for the company.

What Denny said. Plus it's a plane that has a spacious cockpit with state of the art technology, no yoke, good payrate and due to the fuel efficient 3300nm range will likely have 737 style pairings with 1 or 2 legs a day. I'm guessing the short legs will stick with the range challenged 717 or gas hog 88

With a cockpit design like that, it doesn't matter. I'll never forget my first 5 leg day on the bus after transitioning from the 737. "dang... give me a couple more, this is awesome!"
