You are correct. The failed TA had a min guarantee of first year hourly rate and an allotment on top of that specifically for hotels. I have not heard how the new AIP addresses it.

No, POSTA1.0 didn't have any of that. It also added a year to the NH freeze, but I don't remember if the language was the same or worse WRT bidding out to change bases. I think this version may be slightly better in that regard.

Need some info to assist in making a decision:
1) How long is new hire seat lock (current and forecast if the new contract passes)?
2) How long is reserve, on average, for NY assigned pilots on 717, MD-88?
3) How soon can one expect to be based in NY before a move to another domicile, say ATL, would be assuming 717, MD-88?
You can PM if you prefer.
Thanks in advance.

ATL can be had in most cases 6 months or less, sometimes right out of class.
Seat lock is currently 1 year, going to 2 if TA MEMRATs. You can always change bases, and you can get out of your freeze if that is the only way to change bases after 1 year.

1) 12 months under the current PWA. 24 Months with the TA...however at 12 months you can change planes if required to get to another base. Ex...you get NYCM88B, after 12 months if you want DTW and can hold DTW320B, you can make the move.
2) A friend held at line at month 2 on the NYCM88B.
3) Probably the next AE...6 months max I would assume.
