This would just be an ever-moving target. Wouldn't even worry about those unfilled. It'll change again 4 times with normal bids through the next year, but you can probably bet 88, 320, 737, 717, and a smattering of 7ER positions to be available at various bases consistently...consistent enough?

The 7ER out of DTW has a good mix of 75 domestic/international and 767 international. To say that it's all 75 domestic is not accurate at all.

Fair enough, but that's all a junior guy will see...

Of the 38 pages of trips in july's packet, 10 pages of international, 28 of 75 domestic flying...international destinations were lhr, cdg, a very few muc, and Caribbean (aua and sxm)

Looking at rotation numbers is not a effective comparison. Domestic rotations tend to operate fewer days of the month or only one day for less block. I suspect if you directly compared block hours it's closer to a 50/50 split. DTW is covering a lot of international out of PHL, SLC, RDU,CVG and BOS.

Junior guys see plenty of international. There are always trips in the pot to swap into and if you are on reserve you often get assigned international trips. I work with a couple new hire and scheduling programs and the junior guys get their fair share of international.

Of course they do. They have to cover those primo trips that the senior guys are dropping last minute during their sick leave "abuse." 😁

Or junior 7er FOs are on G#2 with a very long layover in Arub. #TheMoreYouKnow.

Classes start on almost all narrow body's in two weeks from the big AE bid in May so I would expect to see a good variety of choices today...717, 320, 88, 737.
