Well that didn't take long. Just a couple of posts and you revert to derogatory name calling because someone called you out on a false premise used to support your banding idea - that's the sales pitch to which I was referring to answer your question.

FWIW, my initial take on pay banding is that it would cause more stagnation for much of the group. It works for United and American because they have top end fleet growth. We will never get a UPS type banding because we are a narrow body fleet with a couple wide bodies. UPS is almost entirely wide bodies.

Do yourself a favor and act like a professional in his mid-50's like you claim to be. Watching you act like a teen cyberbully on these forums is embarrassing.

There is going to be so much hiring that you won't even notice it. Now. It would get us on the right path toward longevity pay which would negate the fact that you yourself just acknowledged in our fleet makeup. In 10 years I would agree with you, that we might notice it. but not now. Not until kids in Kindergarten are applying here.. But don't let that get in the way of your agenda.

Cyberbully. That's funny. You need a safe space to keep from hearing differing opinions?

Nope. I welcome differing opinions. It does make me uncomfortable watching a 56 year old man act like his grandkids though.

If nothing else, you are consistent with YOUR agenda. You want monetary gains NOW, who cares about 10 years down the road when you're gone. That's how I read your response. And that's how almost every one of your positions lines up on these forums. If you are truly making 10%/year gains on your investments, you'll be just fine regardless of the contract outcome. Good luck to you and thanks for flying Delta.

Rejoice. You are gonna win. My group will once again take one for the team.

You are right about that...I'd say any TA brought to the MEC with the AIP's doesn't come to us. If it does, without any significant attempt to address retirement other than a mandatory VEBA, it goes down 70/30 to memrat.

I'll rejoice when WE have a contract that lives up to management's promise of industry leading. Till then, keep in mind I am not the enemy. I had nothing to do with making you or your group "take one for the team" at any time during your career. Ask yourself who was responsible for that.

I'm just surprised to hear that FO's get paid. With all the good experience they're getting, especially on the 88, that seems a little ungrateful, almost like stealing. You can't even buy experience this good.

No, I'm not being serious. And I'm grateful for what you do.

Those are the correct UPS TA rates. First year pay is $44.
