Of course not. I never said someone should walk a picket line while on probation or with a CJO. Not sure how you got that from what I posted

I got it from reading the thread. The guy asked a pointed question about whether he should picket with a CJO. Some said definitely not. You said you never met your CP. But it didn't stop you from picketing.

Sorry for the recap of what is all listed in posts above. I just wanted to make sure the guy knows a retired guy who didn't ever meet his chief pilot did NOT picket while he had a CJO nor while he was on probation.

Sorry if I didn't read enough into your post.

Actually, you read too much in to it. Over and out.

June schedules have been published. If you are off on the 24th, please register/RSVP to picket.
Somehow the misinformation is starting to spread again. A friend of mine in maintenance just asked why we turned down 35%. I explained and showed him that we did not turn down anything close to that...AND we were expected to sacrifice more work rules. He was surprised and said the truth is not what is being floated around.
If you want a better contract, let's do this. Even if you think picketing is pointless, do your part to show our unity and resolve!

I am on reserve on the 24th. I am going to email my rep, but I was wondering if anyone knows if I can go if I don't get called out. Obviously I won't RSVP yes.

Heck yeah. You will already be in uniform. Easy short call.

This is a show of force event ladies and gentlemen. If you ever wanted to do something tangible to benefit your career and your profession, be there. If we don't have enough, that's a problem. If we have too many, that sends a message.

...and now we go live...

...to the Delta headquarters and the Atlanta airport...

...to New York's busy LaGuardia airport where Delta has a hub, and has committed to a complete overhaul and expansion plans...

...to LAX where Delta hopes to expand with a new modernized terminal...

...to Seattle's SEATAC airport where Delta has spent...

...to MSP the former headquarters of Northwest airlines where Delta has cut jobs...

...to the Wayne county airport here in Detroit, which is an economic engine for the recovery of the entire metro area...

...Here thousands of Delta pilots showed up to picket and were turned away because the airport permit only allows XX number of picketers. With me now is the union chairman and leadership to explain the situation...

HELLO PEOPLE!

The misinformation is staggering. I've heard a 2nd hand story from a gate agent, and had an FA tell me to my face that we were are already accomplishing illegal job actions which is why the 717 has been so crazy lately. Then SD comes along with his letter of lies and half truths, the propaganda campaign is enough to make Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf proud.

Anyway, I have reserve on the 24th but my RT should be in full swing and I'll have the day off by the 10 of June or so . I'll see you in ATL.

Thanks MikeF16 and all who are protecting the profession by donating your time. I will unfortunately be flying, but I appreciate all those willing to show up for the pilot group.

That's what happens when you have an ignorant non-union workforce. They drink up everything they hear from management and then you (the guy fighting to get your fair share) are perceived as the enemy.

Guys please record the details of situations like these, name date etc. This behavior is unacceptable especially since we are going out of our way to remain professional and lawful.
